China Railway Materials Yingtan Wood Preservation Co. Ltd used to be called Railway Ministry Yingtan Wood Preservation Co. Ltd. But it is subordinate to China Railway Materials Co. Ltd now. Founded in February 1958, CRM Yingtan Wood Preservation Co. Ltd situates in Yingtan, a very important city of Jiangxi province. It has a total area of 660 mu, inside which lay 9 railway special lines and many kinds of large-scaled hoisting equipment. It is not only a national fixed-point enterprise for preservative timber sleepers, but also one of the 100 largest wood processors and the largest preservative wood treating base. The main products are preservative timber sleepers (prachanda sleepers, switch sleepers, bridge sleepers and sleepers for mine) and preservative anti-termite wood products. Preservative wood is widely used in garden timberwork, outdoor landscape and outdoor furniture. The products are also applied to the amendment of the Potala Palace, the Summer Palace in Peking, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Jinmao Tower in Shanghai, the Olympic Project in Qingdao and so on.
&©|8226; At the end of 2004, National Lumber Saving Development Center asked Yingtan Wood Preservation Co. Ltd to draft Preservative Wood Production Standard, which is a mandatory project by National Standardization Management Committee. This standard involves in such aspects as technology, quality, environment protection and employment security.
&©|8226; In the next half year of 2005, National Lumber Saving Development Center trusted Yingtan Wood Preservation Co. Ltd to draft CCA Wood Preservative Product Standard and WPC Wood Preservative Vacuum Pressurized Equipment Product Standard.
